Hollyland Cosmo C1 SDI/HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System

The Cosmo C1 SDI/HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System from Hollyland allows you to transmit up to 1080p60 video via HDMI/SDI inputs up to 300m line-of-sight with a low 40 ms latency to an HDMI or dual SDI outputs. The transmitter offers one HDMI input, one SDI input, and one SDI loop-through output, and the receiver offers two SDI outputs and one HDMI output.

The system operates on the 5 GHz frequency band and is encrypted to prevent video leakage. The system supports smart channel selection, allowing the system to choose the cleanest channel for transmission. It also supports UVC pull streaming. Both units also feature a bright, easy-to-read OLED display. Each unit is designed to be powered via an L-series battery plate, by the included D adapter, or with an optional USB power supply via the USB Type-C port. Four standard antennas and two mushroom antennas are supplied for the receiver and transmitter.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I plug into the Cosmo C1?

The transmitter takes one HDMI input and one SDI input, with an SDI loop-through output so you can still feed a local monitor on the camera. The receiver gives you two SDI outputs and one HDMI output, which is enough to feed a switcher and a director monitor at the same time. The system handles video up to 1080p60.

What range and latency should I expect?

Up to 300m (1,000ft) line of sight at about 40ms latency, which is low enough to pull focus or follow action from the receiver picture. It runs on the 5GHz band with smart channel selection, so the system finds the cleanest channel rather than leaving you to guess, and the link is encrypted to stop the feed leaking.

How do I power the transmitter and receiver?

Each unit runs from an L-series battery on its built-in plate, from the included D adapter, or from an optional USB-C power supply, so the same unit suits a camera rig, a cart or a desk. Both have an OLED display for channel and status, and UVC pull streaming lets the receiver feed a computer directly as a webcam source.
