    Frequently Asked Questions

    What does RGBW give me over an RGB par?

    A dedicated white LED. RGB fixtures have to mix their way to white, which usually lands somewhere slightly tinted and dims unevenly. With a fourth white emitter the PAR12Q produces a clean white and far better pastels and tints, which matters when you are uplighting a wall, washing a stage or lighting a speaker where a colour cast would look wrong.

    Is it quiet enough for a church or conference room?

    Yes. The PAR12Q is fanless, cooled by its die-cast aluminium housing, so there is no fan noise to creep into a quiet room or an open microphone. That is the main reason it suits houses of worship, meeting rooms, and anything being recorded or streamed, where a row of fan-cooled fixtures would be audible on the broadcast mix.

    Can I daisy-chain several PAR12Q fixtures?

    Yes. It has True1 power in and out plus 5-pin DMX in and out, so both power and data can be linked from fixture to fixture rather than running separately to each one. Work out the total draw against your circuit rating before committing to a long run. An omega bracket is included for truss mounting, and the beam is 30 degrees with an optional 55 degree lens.
