The Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Roaming Hub 20S is a full-duplex wireless DECT intercom system designed for mobile production teams, delivering clear audio and all-day wearing comfort with a true-wireless design and no bodypack required. This comprehensive system includes 20 single-ear headsets, 40 rechargeable batteries, three 8-bay charging stations, and essential accessories.
Transmitting in the 1.9 GHz spectrum and utilising DECT 6.0 technology, the system ensures secure and reliable communication over line-of-sight distances of up to 490m, making it ideal for film and TV production, concerts, live events, and other professional applications. The Roaming Hub features a V-mount for use with compatible external batteries, allowing flexibility on location. It also incorporates industry-standard 5/8” and 3/8” mounting holes for attachment to tripods, light stands, and other accessories, ensuring effortless installation. With up to six assignable groups, team members can communicate efficiently across multiple function groups, such as production, camera, and lighting crews. Roles can be customised for each user group to improve coordination.
Each single-ear headset is dust and water-resistant and designed for comfortable all-day wear. Using the Roaming Hub eliminates the need for a specific master headset. The dual-mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) system combines a directional microphone at the speaker’s mouth with an omnidirectional environmental mic on the earcup to cancel unwanted background noise and deliver clear, intelligible speech. The wide 150 Hz to 7 kHz frequency response ensures detailed voice capture, keeping teams connected in noisy environments.
The hub’s USB Audio Class (UAC) function allows seamless integration with cloud meeting platforms, including Zoom and Skype. Connecting a computer to the Roaming Hub via USB brings on-site and remote teams together without the need for sound capture cards, facilitating efficient collaboration and communication across locations.
A built-in Bluetooth module displays remaining battery life on each headset and enables convenient adjustments via a dedicated mobile app. Each headset operates on a single rechargeable battery, providing up to 10 hours of runtime with ENC engaged, and each battery recharges fully in just 2.5 hours. The system includes three 8-bay charging stations with AC adapters for efficient simultaneous charging.
The C1 Pro Roaming Hub system is backwards-compatible with the Solidcom C1 range. It can be daisy-chained on-site to meet complex operational requirements, allowing professional teams to scale their communication solutions as needed.
